My name is Javier Hernandez Rivera and I was born in 1983 in Spain. I grew up in Barcelona and moved to America in 2006 to pursue my professional and personal dreams.

Currently, I am a Ph.D. student in the Media Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and my research is mainly focused in Affective Computing. I love working not only with the theoretical research, but also solving challenging real-life applications.
